Christina Aguilera Stuns In Sheer Dress
Grammy award-winning singer, Christina Aguilera, made a stunning red carpet appearance with her fiancé, Matthew Rutler, on April 15. The couple attended the 9th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
Christina, 42, wore a sheer black dress paired with a black trench coat while her beau, Matthew, 38, wore a classic black suit and tie. The private couple was seen posing for rare photos together, with Matthew wrapping his arms around his gorgeous partner.
Christina’s outfit included a sheer Versace bodysuit with black velvet zebra stripes worth $1,825 and matching flared trousers worth $2,150. She completed the look with a pair of Prada sunglasses, glittering diamond hoop earrings by Kallati, and a diamond necklace from Joseph Saidian & Sons.
Her hair was styled in a high topknot with loose strands framing her face, and her nails had a nude color with a black cross design.
Although the couple has been engaged since 2014, they have yet to reveal any wedding plans. They share an 8-year-old daughter named Summer Rain, and Christina also has a 15-year-old son, Max, from her previous marriage.
Despite their long engagement, the couple seems to be in no rush to get married, as a source told Us Weekly last summer that they are one of those couples who don’t need a document to prove their love for each other.
Christina and Matthew’s appearance at the Breakthrough Prize Ceremony was a rare event, as the couple almost never walks a red carpet together. They first met on the set of the 2010 film “Burlesque,” where Matthew worked as a production assistant, and Christina played the lead role. He proposed to her on Valentine’s Day in 2014, and they welcomed their daughter later that year.
Apart from their date night, Christina has been keeping busy this month with the launch of her new sexual wellness brand, Playground. The singer, who is co-founder and chief wellness advisor of the company, spoke about her feelings on sexuality during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
