In a recent interview with Seventeen, Millie Bobby Brown, star of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, revealed that she is ready for the show to come to an end after its upcoming fifth season.
Brown, who is now 19, expressed gratitude for her experience with the show but said she’s eager to move on to new chapters in her life. “I’m definitely ready to wrap up,”
she said.
“There’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up.”
Brown also spoke about her excitement for future opportunities, including creating stories that are important to her and pursuing a college degree at Purdue University.
She noted that the academic pursuit is a nice change of pace from her emotionally demanding career. As for Stranger Things, Brown has been vocal about what she wants to see in the upcoming season, calling on the series creators to “start killing people off” in a July 2022 interview with The Wrap.
