This post contains spoilers for season 3, so if you have not watched it yet. maybe it’s best for you to skip this one.
The story so far-
In the last season of Stargirl. We saw Stargirl, crocks and Sylvester, aka starman back from the dead fighting against Eclipso. Eclipso was a bit dark and that’s what we love about the DC universe. The fight was intense and took everyone’s power to defeat eclipso in the end. Thunderbolt turns Eclipso into literally burnt toast. when jakeem wishes for the guy to be toasted. And that’s the brief action of season 2.
Season 3 starts-
Sylvester is back from dead and wants to reunite with his staff. Ask Cortney’s help to settle in the town. This season was titled Frenemies and we saw how Paula and Crusher (aka Crocks) had a change of hearts for Whitmore’s. Sharpe was also going to apologize and in the meantime trying to find his daughter. But later we found out that he got killed.
Later we discovered that Sharpe found some surveillance cameras. Yolanda suspected Cindy of the murder of Sharpe. This caused tension to build up between Yolanda, Cindy and Cortney. Cortney was also keeping secrets from the team members. That is later got revealed to the team members by Cindy and that breaks their team efforts.

Returned from the Dead-
From the start, This season was like everybody gets a second life. The major spoiler is ahead…. Icicle is back from the dead. Yes, the iceman is back from the dead and now wants to regain his control. Then later we found out that Cindy’s father, Dragon king is alive as well. Then we got introduced to a new character Ultra-Humanite who was deemed to be dead but according to the Old JSA logic. He was a mad scientist who transfers his consciousness into others’ minds to keep him alive.
Stargirl season 3 climax-
The climax of season 3 was full of action and we got to see the short bond between the cosmic staff and Cortney. we also got to know who Sylvester really is. The Mahkants fight themselves. Grandma Mahkant is now dead. Cameron was furious with his dad so he fought alongside Courtney. In the end, revealing that he is now leaving blue-valley with his Grandpa.
After 3 months time skip, Later on, icicle was killed by Artemis Crock. Artemis burned icicle to his death. she used some kind of flammable chemical which burns in water. So icicle’s ice power was no help to him at all.
The last scene of the series revealed that Solomon grundy is alive and he also got a second chance.
So that was the end of Season 3. Now the rumour about season 4 is that season 4 is not happening.
Season 4 and Titans cameo-
Rumour was that there will be a crossover between Titans and Stargirl later this season. But we are still waiting for that to happen. If this season is set to be the end of it. And we deemed it to be the finale of Stargirl then it was a good ending. The director and story writers of the show were already aware of the warning. so they curated the story in such a way that it can be finale or later can be revived if they wanted to do so.
Season 3 of stargirl is ended and the DC universe seems disinterested towards renewing the Stargirl franchise and want to work on something new. Maybe we will see stargirl again in some bigger tv series. something like the Justice Society of America itself. Fans have asked James Gunn to save the show and bring season 4 with Sandman storyline. Let’s see if the wishes of fans will be granted by DC studios or not.
