Titans tv series is back
Aired 2 episodes back to back on April 13 2023, The seventh and eighth episodes of the HBO Max series’ fourth season had been eagerly anticipated and were titled Caul’s Folly and Dick & Carol & Ted & Kory, respectively.
Titans s04 episode 7 brief
It had been time to resume Titans’ fourth and final season, with the superheroes having suffered one defeat after another in the first half. Despite their best efforts, the devilish Church of Blood and its leader Mother Mayhem had been successful in converting Sebastian Sanger to their cause, anointing him the son of the demon Trigon and prophesied supervillain Brother Blood.
Jinx, the magical hero, had been killed in the midseason finale while Superboy had continued to be influenced by his genetic father Lex Luthor, even though Luthor had been slain by Mayhem.

Sebastian had completed his magical ascension, rising from a pool of blood as Mother Mayhem had informed him that his transformation into Brother Blood was complete and he now commanded the Church of Blood. While Mayhem and Blood had prepared to revive Trigon, the Titans had regrouped from their disastrous defeat.
Starfire had blamed herself for not finishing off Sebastian when she had the chance.
Tim and his ex-boyfriend Bernard Dowd had decided that their dynamic should be platonic, with the awkwardness between them set aside when the other Titans had suddenly been teleported to a small town called Caul’s Folly.
Titans s04 episode 8 brief
After detecting that the inhabitants had been uneasy about their presence, Kory and Dick had realized they could not leave. They had been restrained whenever they had approached the city limits while Kory’s health had mysteriously worsened. In the town’s diner, Rachel Roth had been drugged and taken captive by the server and her father. She had realized that the town had been aware of the Trigon prophecy and they had suspected the Titans were trying to revive the demon.

Unable to enter Caul’s Folly or locate the missing Titans, Tim and Bernard had spent the night at a roadside motel and had decided to rekindle their romance after all, ending the shortest breakup in history.
Dick had been invited to meet with the town sheriff after hours to learn more about Caul’s Folly and the ancient artifact linked to Trigon. Going to the sheriff’s office alone, Dick had discovered it had been a trap and had been ambushed by the sheriff and his deputies, and had been subdued after a brief scuffle.
Conner had found a secret bunker that had belonged to Lex and had found Mercy Graves waiting for him. Mercy had encouraged Conner to abandon the Titans and stop the Church of Blood by himself, giving him confidential information to provide an added edge.
